Watch Daughtry official music video for new song “Backbone.”

Although this doesn’t seem to be the official first single from the new album, Daughtry have released a music video for the new track “Backbone” which features footage of the band in the studio recording, and more.

If you missed our last updates, we reported that the band said on May 21st the new single will be released in a couple of weeks with the album shortly after.  Chris says that in this video interview at the Billboard Music Awards below.  You might have to reload the page at least a few times for the video to appear.  If it doesn’t appear, go HERE.

Chris also said that the album should be released when it is still hot outside.
