Stone Temple Pilots documentary is in the works for premium cable

 

According to Blabbermouth, A documentary about the recent reformed band Stone Temple Pilots is going to be produced for the premium cable network Showtime.  Not a lot is said about the upcoming film, but that Kent Sevener, executive VP of Talent Acquisition & Business & Legal Affairs promises “A compelling story” and that “not a lot has been done about the band.”

Stone Temple Pilots indeed have a controversial history as their original singer Scott Weiland passed away in 2015 as well as Chester Bennington in 2017 who fronted the band for a few years after Weiland.

Stone Temple Pilots now have a new singer Jeff Gutt who they have a new album coming out this March with.
