Noel Gallagher picks his bandmates based on how much he likes them rather than how good they are

According to NME, Noel Gallagher said this about how he picks his bandmates:

“So if we all get on if there would be some guy who’s the best fucking keyboard player in the world but was a bit of a knob. I’d rather go with a guy who’s less of a knob and a more average musician, so I’ve got a pretty good judge of people,” he continued. “I say you’re not here because you’re the best, I’m not the best in the world at anything do you know what I mean?

Here is Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds new cinematic music video for “If Love Is The Law.”

The video – the fifth chapter of the seven-part film Stranded on the Earth, director Mike Bruce told Rolling Stone  – hones in on the end of a young couple’s relationship in the American Southwest; in flashbacks, it’s revealed that the ex-lovers were like a tattooed Bonnie & Clyde, holding up bars and committing crimes before their split.
